This Notice at Collection is provided pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"). It applies only to California residents.

This Notice describes the categories of personal information we collect, the purposes for which we collect it, how long we retain it, and your rights under California law. This Notice supplements and is incorporated by reference into our Privacy Policy.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

2. Purposes for Collection

We collect personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our Services
  • To enable AI-powered voice and chat functionality
  • To communicate with users, provide customer support, and send service-related, billing-related, or account-related communications
  • To monitor system performance, reliability, and security
  • To administer subscriptions, process billing and payment-related communications, and prevent fraud and misuse
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To evaluate and improve our Services using de-identified or aggregated data

3. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law, by contractual obligation, or for legitimate business purposes.

Retention periods may vary depending on:

  • The specific deployment configuration

  • Security, audit, dispute resolution, or compliance needs

For customer deployments, retention settings may be configurable by the customer, and we process and retain personal information in accordance with those configurations and applicable agreements.

We delete or de-identify personal information when it is no longer reasonably necessary for our legitimate business purposes, subject to legal and compliance obligations.

4. Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

Hilus AI does not sell personal information.

Hilus AI does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not use personal information for targeted advertising. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than the limited purposes permitted by the CCPA and applicable regulations.

5. Your Rights Under the CCPA

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we have collected about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Request deletion of personal information (subject to certain legal exceptions)
  • Request information about how your personal information has been used or disclosed
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights
